Making an Appointment

Dr. Kimelman is available to his patients 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.

We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

If you are having pain, the earlier in the day you call the more likely we can accommodate you.

We schedule individually for each patient and do not double or triple book the same time for multiple patients. We respect and value your time as we do our own. If you are unable to keep your appointment we request you give us as much notice as possible so we can make this time available to others. When making an appointment let us know if you would like to be called if an earlier time becomes available.

What should I bring?

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • If referred by your dentist: your surgical referral slip and any X-rays taken by your dentist. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken by our office

  • A list of medications you are presently taking

  • If you have medical or dental insurance, bring your insurance information. This will help us process your claim

How many appointments should I plan for?

Sedation and local anesthesia patients can be treated at the same visit.

Patients requiring general anesthesia must present for a physical examination and consultation prior to surgery.

Post operative appointments are essential to ensure a rapid recovery and we attempt to schedule them at a convenient time for you. There are no additional fees for these visits.

Payment

We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover, as well as personal checks and cash. We are pleased to offer our patients Care Credit payment plan with no up-front costs and no pre-payment penalties.

We accept assignment with most insurance companies and we participate with Cigna, Delta Dental, and Fidelio Dental. We require co-pays to be paid at the time of appointment unless arrangements are made in advance.

Please remember you are responsible for all fees. We work with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. For dependents under 18 years old, the parent or guardian bringing the patient is responsible for payment. Please bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so we can expedite reimbursement.
